The first Open Call with focus on multi-user and performance was won in 2020 by the artists’ collective reVerb (Susanne Vincenz, Isabel Robson und Mareike Trillhaas).
In collaboration with the Chitrasena Dance Company, Colombo (Sri Lanka), Transient Exposure, a dance and research project with mixed reality, was created within XR_Unites from January to September 2021.
Mixed reality became a testing ground for a working process with the long-term goal of combining live performance, interaction and mediality. The purely digital installation is a station on the path of realizing a live performance in Colombo.
At 03.09.–04.10.2022, Transient Exposure was presenated as part of the exhibition Extended Reality – Code and Materiality in Art and Culture of the INKA research group, HTW Berlin.
